Lambda function is configured with 10,240 MB or more of memory
What it checks
Lambda function is configured with 10,240 MB or more of memory
Where it applies
Terraform: aws_lambda_function
CloudFormation: AWS::Lambda::Function
How to fix it
- Determine the compute mode and measure memory, CPU, concurrency and latency requirements before changing memory. For default compute, AWS Lambda Power Tuning can help compare measured configurations; validate its workload and pricing assumptions rather than treating its result as an automatic production change.
- For Managed Instances, review capacity-provider sizing and utilization together with MemoryThrottles and CPUThrottles and latency. Its smallest supported function size is 2 GB and 1 vCPU; preserve the supported memory-to-vCPU ratio and validate the workload. Choose a measured setting manually in the existing Terraform memory_size or CloudFormation/SAM MemorySize field; no universal replacement size is established.
