How to fix it

  1. Terraform: configure max_allocated_storage and preserve allocated_storage. CloudFormation: configure MaxAllocatedStorage and preserve AllocatedStorage. For supported instance and storage configurations, choose the maximum at least 110% of the current allocation (AWS recommends at least 126%), within engine and DB instance class limits and the required IOPS-to-storage ratio. Storage cannot shrink, and autoscaling does not guarantee avoiding storage-full events.
