EKS cluster declares a single node group
What it checks
EKS cluster: at most one managed node group is declared for this cluster.
Where it applies
Terraform: aws_eks_cluster
CloudFormation: AWS::EKS::Cluster
How to fix it
- Split into at least: a `system` pool (kube-system, ingress, observability) and an `apps` pool. Add a `spot` pool for non-critical workloads if cost matters.
Frameworks
- AWS Well-Architected REL.7
